平林孝央は宇宙に存在する生命の循環などをテーマに、様々なものが行き交い循環する「境界」や「交差点」を往来する象徴として少女を描いてきました。
現在は、引き続き、宇宙の法則（生命の循環）というテーマをもちながら、心癒される美しいものに囲まれた生への憧れと人間の活動によって覆い隠された美しい生命／存在を見出したい、との動機から主に実在の自然の風景を描いています。
作家は自身が描く風景画を、写実画ではなく“風景に見える美しい色の響き合い”あるいは“風景のような抽象画”と捉えています。
鑑賞者に、現代の生活の忙しさや喧騒から離れて、心身が休まるイメージを提示したいとの思いを持ち、鑑賞者が自然体で向き合えるような絵を目指しています。
また、自身の表現手法である油絵の技法・画材と向き合い、その魅力を発揮するべく研鑽しています。
あえて対象の精緻な描き込みをせず、デフォルメや省略を駆使しながら油絵独特の色彩や光のきらめきを描いています。
そうすることで対象の理想の形を表現し、写真にはない絵画の魅力を追求しています。

This exhibition is a second half of the new year’s annual exhibition, which is the anniversary the group exhibition “鸞翔鳳集”（Ran Sho Hou Shu）held in January 2019 to commemorate the opening of the gallery.
January 2026 has marked the 7th anniversary of the opening of the gallery. We are in its seventh year of operation of this gallery.
The exhibition focuses on new works by fascinating artists who are connected to our gallery and advisors.
This is a luxurious event with a total of 24 artists. 12 artists participate each period of Vol.15 (first half) and Vol.16 (second half).
We welcome several artists who will exhibit for the first time.
