2020年末の個展『変化しつつ循環するもの』で､干支の13番目にあたる未知を象徴する存在として描いた｢猫｣｡
本展ではそのモチーフを起点に､猫というかたちを通して未知を探る新作シリーズを発表します｡(feebee)
このたび､緻密な絵画技法と東洋的な思想を背景に､この世界を｢変化しつつ循環するもの｣と捉え､独自の視点で表現する作家・feebee氏の個展を開催いたします｡
feebee氏は､イラストレーターとしてのキャリアを経て､2015年頃よりアーティスト活動を開始しました｡
哲学的なテーマやメタファーを含みながら､時代や国を超えたさまざまな要素を現代的な視点で捉え直し､伝説上の神獣を再構築した｢神獣シリーズ｣や､現代人と社会の関係性を題材とした｢ポートレートシリーズ｣などを制作しています｡
また､タブロー作品を軸に､現代浮世絵としての木版画制作､アートトイのキャラクターデザイン､新政酒造《No.6 New Year-type 2026》のボトルデザインも手がけるなど､幅広い領域で活動を展開しています｡

At the end of 2020, in my solo exhibition “Things That Change and Circulate,” I depicted a “cat” as the thirteenth sign of the Japanese zodiac, symbolizing the unknown.
In this exhibition, I present a new series that begins with that motif, exploring the unknown through the form of the cat. (feebee)
We are pleased to present a solo exhibition by feebee who views this world as something that is constantly changing and cyclical, and expresses it from her unique perspective with meticulous painting techniques and a background in Eastern philosophy.
After a career as an illustrator, feebee began her artistic practice around 2015.
While incorporating philosophical themes and metaphors, she reinterprets various elements that transcend time and country from a modern perspective, creating works such as the “Divine Beast Series,” which reconstructs legendary mythical creatures, and the “Portrait Series” which deals with the relationship between modern people and society.
In addition to her tableau paintings, she is also active in a wide range of fields, including woodblock printing as a form of contemporary ukiyo-e, character design for art toys, and bottle design for Aramasa Sake Brewery’s “No.6 New Year-type 2026.” Please take this opportunity to experience this exhibition.
