「何気なく目にした風景でも、その時の印象や感情が長く心に残り続けることがあります。
時代、生活、環境は日々変化していきますが、絵の中の景色やこどもたちは不変であってほしいと思っています。」（吉田涼香）
吉田涼香は、アクリル絵具の特性を活かした色彩構成、豊かな階調で、自然の中一人で過ごす子どもや物思いに耽ける子どもを描く抒情画家です。その情景はリアリティを帯びながら、決して写真的写実に収まらない温度を持った風景表現です。作中の景色は誰しもが心の中に持つ幼き頃の心象風景と重なり、鑑賞者の温かな記憶を呼び起こします。また、作中に登場する少年は鑑賞者自身を投影するような効果を生み、自然と感情移入し、作品世界を通じて自己との対話へ導いてくれます。
本展のタイトルは「ずっと」です。様々なものが目まぐるしく変化するこの時代において、いつの時代もずっと変わらない何か、作家がずっと不変であってほしいと願う何かを是非作品から感じ取っていただければ幸いです。この機会に是非ご高覧ください。

“Even a scene we happen to come across casually can leave an impression or feeling that lingers in our hearts for a long time. Times, lifestyles, and environments change day by day, but I hope the landscapes and children within my paintings will remain unchanged.” (Suzuka Yoshida)
Suzuka Yoshida is a lyrical painter who depicts children spending time alone in nature or lost in thought, using the unique qualities of acrylic paints to create rich tonal gradations and nuanced color compositions.
Her scenes carry a sense of reality, yet they never settle into mere photographic realism. Instead, they convey a warmth that transcends replication.
The landscapes in her works overlap with the inner landscapes of childhood that everyone carries within, evoking tender personal memories in viewers.
The boys that appear in her paintings often have the effect of projecting the viewer themselves, naturally drawing the viewer into the scene and leading them into a quiet dialogue with their own inner selves.
The title of this exhibition is “Zutto” in Japanese that means “Forever”.
In this rapidly changing era, please feel through her works the presence of Something that never changes, no matter the era or something the artist wishes would always endure.
