■MUMON ART PROJECT とは？
「アートを飾る、アートを使う、アートを遊ぶ。」をテーマに、伝統的な日本的美意識と現代アーティストとのコラボレーションによる、新しい“ マルチプル” を商品化してゆくプロジェクトです。
ブランド名である「無門」とは、大きな道には門が無いという、禅問答から由来した意味の言葉で、枠にとらわれない、自由な発想と創造性が門の扉を開け、アートを通した新しい生活の価値を提案してゆくMUMON の世界観を表しています。
MUMON は、日本の伝統とマルチプル、カタチをベースに、現代アーティストによる発想( アイデア) と遊び心を商品化することで、見るだけではない、誰もが買えるアートをプロデュースしていきます。
For the theme of “Exhibit Art, Use Art, Play Art”, this project produces new art multiples by the collaboration with the traditional Japanese sense of beauty and Japanese modern artists.
Project name“MUMON”means “On the way to the truth, there are no gate that’s visible and splendid. When you aim to go the way to truth, anywhere, there is the invisible gate”. That comes from “ZEN”.“MUMON”expresses that the concept of free idea and creativity opens the gate then suggests new life value by art.
On the base of Japanese tradition, and shape, MUMON develops new products by Japanese modern artists idea and playful mind.
