無闇に触れないように、矢鱈と広めないように、取り沙汰さないように。
関わるとすこし妙な気分になること…内、家、うちうちのこと。
うち側では成り立つ、そっとしておけばいいこと。（小山久美子）
小山久美子は、精緻な描写で現代の風景に鎧武者や擬人化した動物などを登場させ、 過去と現在、空想と現実が交差する不思議な世界を表現します。犬や日本の歴史にまつわる事象など、時間軸、現実空間を超えて自身の好むモチーフを作中にないまぜに描きます。
また、近年では動物が登場する現実世界でありながらも日常風景とは微妙にズレのある、どこか奇妙な光景を描いています。

■Sales method
From the first day, we send a list of artworks to those who request it.
Things best left untouched, things best left unspread, things best left undiscussed.
Matters that leave you feeling a bit strange if you get involved— private matters; internal affairs.
Things that function perfectly well within their own sphere, and are best left exactly as they are. It consists on the inside and it should be left alone.

With meticulous detail, Kumiko Koyama introduces armored samurai and anthropomorphized animals into contemporary landscapes, expressing a mysterious world where the past and present, imagination and reality, intersect.
Motifs that she is drawn to, such as dogs and subjects related to Japanese history, are woven together in her works, transcending the boundaries of time and place.
In recent years, she has also been depicting scenes that—while set in the real world and featuring animals—present a somewhat strange spectacle, subtly diverging from everyday reality.
We hope you will take this opportunity to view her work.
